«Prix Média» of the Swiss Academies
It is the aim of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences to advance the dialogue between science and society. With the «Prix Média», they support journalists and researchers who make complex subjects accessible to a wider audience. The amount of CHF 10'000.- is awarded annually in each of four disciplines: human and social sciences, natural sciences, medicine and engineering sciences.
Conditions of participation
The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences price media publications of outstanding quality that are easily understandable and have been published in a Swiss medium appearing on a regular basis. Full consideration is given to publications that appeared between 16 June 2012 and 15 June 2013, and closing date is on 15 June 2013.Application documents and guidelines
